Re: Checking on two full service movers

Elis, storing your goods in the Fort Collins area will give you more control on having a specific delivery date, storing in San Diego you will have to deal with a delivery spread and the money you do save by storing in San Diego could end up being spent on additional lodging and living expences if y...

Re: Checking insurance records (Dahill Mayflower)

Nyssa, Dahill as been a Mayflower agent since the early 1960's and have been in the moving industry since the late 1920's. They are a family owned company and all in all are pretty good, just ask your salesperson if they will be selfhauling your move or will it be put into the Mayflower system. good...

Re: Recommended mover I hire might not be the one moving me?

GUEST, If you book with Armstrong United, they will pass your move on to Bernie & Bubba, it will be put into the United dispatch system and would be hauled by either United or Mayflower. hope that helps you out a bit.

Re: Coral Springs Moving Update

I might as well stick my 2 cents in here. Duster you have GNTE estimate with a 65% discount. I see on the estimate where the sales rep. crossed out the estimate plus 10% clause because she gave you a GNTE. should you have any questions just call me and I will be glad to help you out, regardless if y...

Re: help, we think we're being scammed

oneburned customer, I don't understand why you would have let them drive away after loading and why you would have let them sleep on your bed. If you would have told the police that you wanted them to unload the truck back into your house, they would have had to do so, it may have cost you some mone...

Irv, the only J & B movers that I am aware off in south Florida is in Pompano and they are a agent for North American Van Lines. I see by looking in the Hollywood phone book that they do have a Hollywood #. but their office and warehouse is located in Pompano, Fl.. I can tell you that they have been...

Re: Moving to UK

PAUL, MOVING ABROAD IS DIFFERENT FROM MOVING WITHIN THE USA OR MOVING LOCALLY. YES MOST ALL COMPANIES WILL REQUIRE THAT YOU PAY BEFORE YOUR GOODS LEAVE FOR THE PORT, IN THE FORM OF CERTIFIED U.S. FUNDS. MOVING TO THE UK YOU WOULD EITHER PAY FOR A 20FOOT CONTAINER OR A 40 FOOT CONTAINER. CHARGES ARE ...

Re: ABF U-PACK LA

Jane ABF is national freight company. what they will do is spot a trailer at your home for a certain amount of time, I think it is for a day or two, for you to load your goods. You will need to furnish the pads required to protect your furniture and you will be charged by how much space you use. At ...

Re: Need advice quick

Denny, open up the yellow pages first. Call some of the larger companies in your area, United van lines, Mayflower, Allied Van lines, etc. and there is a large independent mover in your area Joyce van lines, they have been doing business for many years. have them come out to your home for a visual e...

Re: Graebel vs. Supreme Van Line in Florida

West, If you go to www.mayflower.com then go to agent finder, then to florida, you will see that Mayflower does not have a agent in Miami. If moving for less is claiming to be a agent for them I would call Mayflower headguarters in Fenton, Mo. and verify it as it could be possible they just signed o...
