Postby Cydnap » Tue Jun 21, 2005 4:40 pm

Hello - has anyone ever used All USA Moving & Storage based our of North Hollywood, CA? I am going to be moving soon and wanted to know if there were any horror stories about them and if I should stay away. Thanks

What is their permit number? Are you moving locally or long distance?

Do NOT use All Usa! See the previous scam report about them:

http://www.movingscam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=115

You also need to read this article before you go any further. Whatever method you are using to find moving companies is NOT working.

Hint: STAY AWAY FROM INTERNET SEARCH ENGINES WHEN LOOKING FOR A MOVING COMPANY!!!!

All USA has an "F" rating from the BBB:
You can read their horrible BBB report here. They have over 100 complaints, including 65 complaints that they never even bothered to answer. The complaint summary reads:
Complainants relate to delays in delivery or pick-up of goods, failure to honor the estimated costs of moves and insistance upon final payment in cash after being promised that payment could be made by credit card. Some customers complain that goods were damaged during the moves. Other complainants state that the company failed to provide claim forms and failed to pay claims.

The company responds to complaints by offering explanations for their actions, or, by disputing complaint allegations. The company generally denies issues of overcharges. In some cases, the company asked for additional information or documentation to support the complainant's allegations. In a few cases, responses imply the customer was untruthful when presenting the complaint allegations.

I concur with everything Tyrone said, and just want to add that they have an F with the L.A. BBB.

Their license was in revocation from August 23 of last year until June 9th. Before that, it was revoked from August 22, 2003, until April of 2004. Do you think they stopped moving in the meantime? They've been revoked more than they've been operable.
