1..NEVER PAY A MOVER A DEPOSIT FOR INTERSTATE MOVING! IT COULD BE THE START OF THE BIG SCAM
2. GO WITH IN HOME ESTIMATES ONLY.
3. DO NOT USE A BROKER.

They moved my items in April and I filed a claim right after the move but they still didn't resolve it and now they have disappeared. It was an interstate move as well. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do?
I've heard that when airlines fold, that other airlines honor the pre-sold tickets...maybe some nice mover will pay your claim in the same line of goodwill?
Contact the provider of their insurance at the time of your move, and explain the situation. You're still within 9 months from your move, and their insurance was active through May.

I filled a complaint with DOT and just yesterday I received a letter from them. There is a phone number you can call to find out the name of that broker. I'm going to do that tomorrow so I'll let you know.
If anybody can assist or wants to commiserate, please contact me.
All of you, here's an alternate way to get in touch with them, under their new name:
