Re: Unhappy the movers didn't move me

I don't blame them, I wouldn't based on the info they gave the office do this move either. I don't want to bring something like that to my warehouse or even have my moving blankets touch this. Here in NY have more serious issues with bedbugs and we have already turned down services to 12 customers, ...

Re: Better Business Scam Exposed

The rating system might not be the most honest one (i hope we are all wrong) but I still think that they have the best honest complaint website out there.. with them you will need to show some proof of actually moving with the company you are trying to file a complaint and with everyone else (cityse...

Re: New moving company and moving without license

I wouldn't risk it if I were you... If they catch you doing moves without a license you might not get approved at all..
Labor you can still provide.. just not transportation..
Good Luck

Re: Stairhopper Movers in MA

Stairhopper Movers in MA used reviews that were taken from other moving companies. I can't tell you more then that because I don't know anything about them aside for the FACT that they used a few reviews that were posted about my company in NY. I use Copyscape on my site so I get weekly reports... (...

Re: The Green Moving Company

It's not only about reusing packing supplies, it's about changing the light bulbs in the offices and warehouse, It’s about recycling the trash we create in our day-to-day office work, It’s about reminding our customers to be green as well, encourage them to donate unused items instead of just dumpin...

All they wanted to do is put a link to their website ( located in html code at the end) the poster "Lwilliams" didn't really care about the topic.

Re: Discover Moving / Highway Moving

Shocking that the padded wagon didn't buy it off and decided to pay just the $68 for it...
I guess we'll see many more sites like this one soon...

Re: Moving to NYC - Reserving an elevator.. flexibility?

Many of the buildings in Manhattan DO require advance notice and reservation, you can't just show up with a truck to a 30-40 story building and expect them to accommodate the move within minutes imagine what would happen if every tenant will do so... you need to be on the schedule in some cases you ...

Re: moving in the rain?

You don’t inform the mover that you want to postpone you ask if you can postpone… off season mid month I think she will have luck.

Re: moving in the rain?

You will be a lot happier if you wait another day or two for the rain to stop…
For the movers working in the rain should not be a big deal but wet moving blankets sitting on your wood furniture for a few hours/ days or weeks (depends on your move type) is a big deal and it is not a good idea.
