Re: 8 Things That Drive Your Movers Completely Insane
I'm sure you probably won't ever come back to this site, but your comment is pretty irresponsible. There are over 13,000 locations that service moving in the United States, and to say they are ALL irresponsible is doing a disservice to 99% of them. You should be more careful with your wording. I hav...

Re: What to do with the household goods when relocating to a new place ?
It is not such an unusual question. A lot of people put things into storage and when they remove them or have them delivered there is damage. It all depends on whether the move was local or whether it was stored for delivery to another city. The more times household goods are handled, the greater th...

Re: Suburban Relocation Systems is kicked out by Better Business Bureau!
I think one thing I failed to mention the last time we spoke was that the BBB is sometimes not as diligent as it should be. It takes an awful bad operation to get booted from the BBB. The BBB operates on membership dues of the companies that are accredited. There are 2 possible scenarios here. If Su...

Re: Suburban Relocation Systems is kicked out by Better Business Bureau!
I found that this company has a Facebook page, and that they are hawking their services. I filed a deceptive profile, which Facebook has not responded to. So I put Facebook on blast. See below. ***OPEN COMPLAINT TO FACEBOOK*** Facebook, I am publically calling you out for not doing your homework. I ...

Re: Alarm: Illegal Interstate Moving Operation
You are certainly not alone in your disdain for this company. Read these reviews on Yelp... https://www.yelp.com/biz/suburban-relocation-systems-washington-3?start=20 I also found they have a Facebook page. I will certainly be going there to put a caution out on them. They don't call me the Sheriff ...

Re: Suburban Relocation Systems is kicked out by Better Business Bureau!
I wouldn't be surprised by the insurance situation. Insurance is expensive, and it is not uncommon to let it lapse or to cancel it when the operating authority has been suspended or revoked. However, the illegal use of the BBB logo is not an issue that they will take lightly, as this company appears...

Re: Suburban Relocation Systems is kicked out by Better Business Bureau!
If this company has been using the BBB logo on its' paperwork, that is illegal and the BBB has recourse to sue for illegally inferring that they are accredited by the BBB. If the BBB is not taking some sort of action against them something is fishy. Also, did you check with your state moving and sto...

Re: Suburban Relocation Systems: 4 Hostages in 10 Months
If you hired them in July of 2021 you are still within the period allowed by law to file a claim. I would start by doing that [even though you know the result]. That is so that if you decide to pursue this matter in court, you will have the proper paper trail and they will not be able to say you nev...

When did you suffer your loss at the hands of this company? Before you hire any company that claims to operate interstate or even locally, you can find out how they stand in the regulated world. Here is the link to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, more commonly referred to as the FMC...

Re: Suburban Relocation Systems is kicked out by Better Business Bureau!
My understanding is that they were never accredited by the BBB. Many moving companies that operate illegally often hide a lot of their documents. If the numbers that are said to be the complaints are as indicated, there are probably twice as many that did not get reported.

Re: Suburban Relocation Systems: 4 Hostages in 10 Months
I hope you personally did not have any dealings with this company. I dug a little deeper into the FMCSA database, and this company Suburban Relocations Systems LLC is their legal name dba as United Relocation Systems. They have NO OPERATING AUTHORITY. Probably because it has been revoked. Since Mary...

Re: Ten Moving Scam Tactics of Suburban Relocation Systems
You seem to have done extensive research of Suburban Relocations Systems. Where did you move from and to? The first question I would ask is how you came to utilize this company in the first place. The second question is did they come to your residence and give you a visual estimate. The third questi...
