Re: NJ local move: follow up

Diane, If I remember correctly, it was $148 per hour. The total cost was a little over $1000. Birardi was booked, and I think the Wheaton agent was booked as well. Are you familiar at all with Allstate? I think they have been around a long time. They didn't mention a minimum number of hours; his est...

NJ local move with Allstate Moving & Transfer: follow up

Hi, I posted several weeks ago regarding my move from Middlesex to Hudson counties. I ended up going with Allstate moving and storage out of Linden (a Paul Arpin affiliate). They came recommended by University, who was booked for the day I needed. Allstate was professional all the way. They came to ...

Re: NJ local move

Thanks Diane, I will definitely consider cancelling. But I may have to go with them if I'm unable to find someone better who's available. I am going to be out of town for most of the month, so I don't have much time to call around or schedule estimates. This site has been a great help. Regarding pac...

Re: NJ local move

I saw on the BBB that they were Russian owned. The person I spoke with on the phone was American; they should've gotten him to help with the website! If I go with them, I'll make sure to post a review. Diane, is poor english on a website a deal breaker, or are you familiar with the name? Thanks, B

NJ local move

Hi, I was wondering if any one has experience with Absolute Moving, Inc in East Brunswick (USDOT 1045382). Everything I've seen seems to check out with them. This move is from Middlesex to Hudson County. I tried University first but they were already booked. Another mover quoted an hourly rate and r...

Re: move within New Jersey

I believe that Vreeland/Bekins handled my move three years ago. It was from PA to NJ (about a 2.5 hr drive), and it was arranged through my company as part of relocation. I'd give them a mixed review. Their truck broke down on the way, which delayed me getting my stuff for a day. But they did reimbu...

Re: Simonik or All Jersey Movers-East Brunswick, NJ to Troy,

Hi,

I am interested if there are any follow-ups with these movers. I am moving from Middlesex to Hudson county and have requested quotes from both All Jersey and Simonik. I have not heard back from either as of yet.
