I had a very positive experience with them with a move to CA from CT. The guy was a few days late getting to CA, but called with a reasonable excuse. He kept us in the loop at all times.

Thank you very much. This is very helpful. I have to say I am a bit skeptical though because I haven't heard or seen anything on these boards or anywhere else on the internet about them--- either positive or negative.

Yes- You have the right company. Originally we were matched by an internet site, but they are competitive vs. the bigger names. We are moving from CT to CA. They are willing to bind their rates and the owner is very personable of the local operator. (Vanguard in Norwalk, CT). Anybody know anything a...

National Van Lines

Has anyone heard of National Van Lines? We are about to move and will probably choose them for a cross country move. I posted elsewhere on this site and haven't heard anything.

Sorry... I was wrong... Vanguard is not NAVL it is National Van Lines. Has anyone heard of Vanguard?

Thanks! Have you heard of Vanguard in Connecticut? They are an affiliate of North American Van Lines. They came in with a good pitch, but I haven't heard any reviews. Can anyone provide me w/ some guidance?

About to select a mover

I am about to select a mover for a move from CT to CA. I have narrowed it down between 2. Amodio Mayflower and Vanguard (North American) Does anyone know how much time before the move I should commit? We are moving at the beginning of January. And--- Is there anything I should ask for before signing...

Thanks for all of your help. I think I narrowed it down betweenb Amodio (Mayflower) and Vanguard (North American).

Sorry- The actual name of that mover is "Globe Express Van Lines", not "Global Express". Their website is www.globeexpress.com

Also- has anyone heard of Noah's Ark Moving and Storage?
