Re: Help with a bellow 2100lbs move from Chicago do NYC

Lee - I'm still with UniGroup - but I've hung up my sales hat and left Suddath! I'm working at a local United/Mayflower office in Lakeland (where I live). I drive to the office each day & my car gets to rest from the 150K+ miles I put on it in the last 3 years! I now park, reside and contribute ...

Re: *Moving - Chicagoland to Roanoke, Va

Moving from a burb, very easy access for an 18 wheeler. The apartment complex we are moving to has a very small and curvy parking lot. I don't think anything larger than the standard delivery truck would be able to fit. The United reps (Corrigan and Armstrong) stated they would contact a local repr...

Re: HELP please....

I don't know which major carriers you have talked to, but if you have a United or Mayflower office near call and inquire with them about the "Small Shipment Program". If you need or want more details on this, you can send me a private message.

Re: WHAT MOVING EXPENSES ARE DEDUCTIBLE?

Did you ever stop by to meet Archie, Pam? I remember you were thinking about it at one time. Welcome back, by the way! People have been asking about you. Everytime I'm in Atlanta it's only a layover at the airport it seems. I will be in Augusta, GA after summer visiting friends & I plan on a da...

If I had to move, I'm sure I'd procrastrinate too! I don't like to move personally, but love it when others do!! You have a good selection going for your considerations. Keep us posted as things progress and let us know if you have any questions. I've not made any recent comparisons on storage conta...

I've been absent on here for a while - someone send me a PM and let me know what happened with Rick!

There is too much reading for me to get caught up on, I did notice a couple of threads where stuff had been deleted that he posted.

Most of the major carriers (Allied, Mayflower, Atlas, United, etc.) all have some great representation in the Houston area. Listed below are a couple of recommendations for United & Mayflower. United: Armstrong Relocation, Suddath Relocation Mayflower: Daryl Flood You need to start making your c...

FL movers need to appeal to their Senators to Squash this Bill 5005!! Our office feels so strongly about this that we had representatives in Tallahassee last week appealing to get this Bill 5005 that the House has passed to be squashed by the Senate.

Browning Moving & Storage was in Tallahassee last week fighting against this passing. Randy Browning & Jim Thorpe from our office and other members of FWMA are working hard to get Bill 5005 squashed - the House has passed & we are asking the Senate to Squash!!

Re: Moving from Orlando Florida to Orlando Florida-local move just 6 miles

Do you have any recommendations for Tallahassee to Tampa?I'm running into the trouble that there are very few companies based in Tallahassee, which I read on this forum was important for intrastate moves. Thanks!!! Atlas Van Lines has an office in Tallahassee that is represented by the agent of Tal...
