( I left out national account biz, since it apparently no longer exists) It exists. Its just the agents that have always done these national accounts are packing and self hualing them. Where most agents have been focusing on GBL's and shunning national accounts. Please explain how military shipment...

OK, a little update/help here...anyone? We are familiar with Vanguard in CT - we've had decent results with them for local stuff, but I'm wondering about National Van Lines for a long distance job. Anybody have any recent stories to share?

For what it's worth, I used Crofutt & Smith based out of Morris County for 2 moves within NJ. They were quite good and fairly priced; I'd recommend 'em, but this was a couple of years ago...you might want to check on more recent experiences with them.

I'm not in love with these guys. To be fair, they did right by us a few years back - but I would recommend for moves within the 5 boroughs only.
