Re: NOT Happy

Thank you but it honestly was not included. I was never asked at either origin or destination and they NEVER presented me with ANY folder. Just a few pieces of paper. He even had me sign a blank yellow envelope in place of actual paper for the particle board waiver. But I've also unfortunately signe...

Re: NOT Happy

Hi yes I had a box of dolls worth $1500. I was never once asked to mark any high value inventory.

Re: NOT Happy

Thank you but I tried for half and they flat out refused. I had no other option. They told me $950 or nothing. And yes, I do have a lot of high value items, hence the purchasing full value protection. What good is that then?

Re: NOT Happy

Well I'm the person who originated the post. I was offered a measley $950 for over $3000 worth of lost items. I find this completely unsettling and despicable. I would swear the driver, Jason, stole my stuff and sold it or something because 5 boxes just do NOT disappear. And furthermore, I find it v...

No compensation For Lost Boxes

I need advice asap here. I had posted before regarding using Ace Relocation/Mollerup from Atlas Van Lines for my move. They lost 5 of my boxes and it has been the allotted 6 weeks that they say to allow to look for my boxes. NOTHING turned up. They're now telling me because I was not asked, nor neve...

Re: **NOT Happy With Bekins Northwest

just because they didn't pack the boxes does not make them any less responsible. THEY lost my items, or stole them(which I think was the case personally). THe driver had 1 week with my items and they just disappear. So you're saying basically having full insurance coverage means nothing because unle...

NOT Happy

I posted here that I was moving back to MD From CO and had contacted Ace and they contracted BEkins for the move. I was told they were ok. They were NOT. Moving day comes and of course they were late(no biggie). Guy comes from Salt Lake City and then has 2 local men he hired meet him to help. They p...

Ace Relocation Contracted out my move to Bekins

I have to move back to MD after being here for 6 weeks. I hired Ace relocation to move me out here and LOVED them! But I wanted to hure them to move back from Colorado Springs to Columbia MD and they said fine but contracted me to BEkins. I know NOTHING about Bekins and am wondering if it's the same...

Re: Moving Back to MD

Ok they're quoting me a price of $4965 and I paid only $4980. I've gotten rid of a TON of stuff and I did tell them that. I'm asking for an in-home visit. They should be able to do this correct, even though the company is based in MD but has people all over the US? They're saying I have about 3300 l...

Moving Back to MD

I am moving back to MD after having moved to CO 3 weeks ago. I was very happy with Ace Relocation for the most part and would like to know if I can use them again to move back to MD? Will they move me from CO? Thanks.

Re: Question Regarding Damages and Filing a Claim

I know I can file a claim online and I do intend to. I just don't want them to say something like well the damages should've been found before we left and noted, like the last company I used did. They told me I had signed something saying I waived my rights to use my full value ins protection and th...

Question Regarding Damages and Filing a Claim

I recently moved from MD to CO and must say overall I had a very satisfying experience using Ace Relocation. While they were late arriving they were fast and efficient loading and very professional. They delivered my stuff 3 days later(next day after I arrived.) However, my concern is that my son's ...

Help! Movers Running Late! Am I Being Scammed?

I hired Ace Relocation services on recommendation from this bb. They are out of Jessup MD. You guys said they have a 12 star rating, highest that can be given. I've tried to do my homework. They were due here between 8-9 am and now are not coming until 10:45. Driver offered no excuses or apologies a...
