BBB - How much do you pay to be there?

I know some people look at the BBB as a big deal when checking companies. Others think its not such a great thing. I know here, we wont pay to be listed---we are there but dont have any information good or bad---of course, it does say there are no complaints against us---we figure why pay to know wh...

Re: March Moving Volume

Sadly, our sales so far this year are showing down - its tough right now. Our moving company - NAVL agent - is only a small piece of the pie---smaller this year than ever we have a logistics company - Lynch Logistics/Lynco Inc - we have commercial storage-Consolidated Warehouse, a freight company- C...

Re: Fuel surcharge

Yes, we all have the same f/sc - Jim is right--5%. The 15th of every month is when the fuel surcharge goes up or down. I have customers who feel there should not be any fuel surcharge now - the problem is the fuel seems SO low because it was SO high. Diesel is still fairly costly.

Re: Anyone Used "Door to Door" Moving/Storage?

Call a NAVL agent near you - they have 1000 lb minimum vs 2100 lb minimum - You could ship 1000 lbs for a little less than the quote you have from door to door----with a reputable van line that doesnt broker out your goods.

Re: I need help and fast!!

If its DeHavens Tfr & Stg (the one Im thinking it is) they are very reputable--Personally, I wouldnt go with one that doesnt do an inhouse survey--guaranteed price or not, there is usually a way for them to get around that.

Re: Ok so Moovers....

The biggest pc of advice from any person who knows anything about moving is to get an inhouse survey---why would someone NOT do that? Just curous why you would bother even getting an estimate from a company that cannot do an inhouse survey------ :?:

Re: Ok so Moovers....

How come you would have to fill out a inventory sheet? Wont they come into your home & do a survey? If not, I would steer clear of them---that & having to wait for an estimate--very frustrating--I dont care if they are an Allied, NAVL or United agent, no in home survey & not replying in ...
