More important than the United name is the United agency that you select to provide you with an in home survey and estimate. There are many United agents that service your location, I would suggest that you ask your friend what agent he used to move from SF and start there. Get 2 others for comparis...

In general, interstate moves are charged based on miles and weight, plus any additional services such as packing and crating. Please contact 3 movers in your area and have them conduct an in-home, pre-move survey. Then come on here and ask any questions you may have about the quotes.
