Re: Hercules Moving Systems

One other point that they back tracked on was somewhere it stated a large amount must be paid at pick up, not at delivery. I told them I would not do that, she stated it was an old form and she would take it off and send me a new one. Guess what. The new email still had it on. That was the final str...

Re: Hercules Moving Systems

Car Pe Diem, I can only restate what I stated before, that we decided (after talking with my agent at Hercules), who by the way was so very nice and helpful, to go another route. I asked them to come out and do a physical estimate and she said there was no need for that. I told her that I had checke...

Re: **Joyce movers in CT

Thank you Joyce, it is refreshing to hear of a person who had a good experience with a mover. I am moving to CT in a month, Near Danbury. I will tuck their name away for safe keeping.

Re: Advice needed- moving from Reno, NV to Chico, CA

I am going to have Don at STS(posted in conversation above) come out and load and transport my household goods to an ABF relocube loading area in Fontana, then move across country with ABF as we don't have a lot of furniture. I was very impressed with Don at STS, Check out his good reviews on here. ...

Re: Reviews of STS Movers (Orange County, CA)

I created a topic about my positive meeting with Don of STS movers this morning. However, I have decided this is the proper place for it. After quotes from full movers and almost signing up with a company that was definately a scam(name not included), we decided to go with ABF Upack. Diane suggested...

STS movers

I just have to tell you about a very positive meeting with Don at STS movers. Don met with me today at the recommendation of Diane from this forum. We were having a great deal of trouble deciding the best way to move our household goods from Corona, CA to Connecticut. We had quotes from full service...

Re: Hercules Moving Systems

Well said, Music Mom, but I was very careful not to give the name of specifi8c sites to them. They wanted to know, but just said various sites for information on moving. Again, thanks a bunch.

Re: Hercules Moving Systems

Oh, and your right, they didn't get a VIP move from us. All they got was an earful, about how they need to be more reputable. TEE HEE

Re: Hercules Moving Systems

Only because of joining your site did I keep from making a HUGE mistake. Diane suggested I contact Don at STS moving to perhaps come out and help us estimate possible relocubes or trailer. I contacted him and waiting for a date from him to possibly come and help us with his expertise. Since I have g...

Re: Hercules Moving Systems

Thank you for the additional info and I am so sorry for your extra expenses. I called Hercules back and without telling them where I found the info, told them that they had numerous bad reviews on various sites I had visited. She tried to explain her way out of everything including BBB ratings and b...

search unsuccessful sterlite

Have sterlite storage units, 2 are 5 drawer, some are 3 drawer. Inside are craft items, scrapbook paper, stickers etc. If I shrink wrap or tape closed, can I use them as moving containers if I don't pile heavy things on top of them? Thanks for info or link. Probably using relocubes. Pat

Re: Hercules Moving Systems

Sorry for all the typos on my post I was trying to hurry and I am soooooooo upset. Thought I was done with all the quotes and now fear I must start over. Thanks for your help.
