Re: Personal Records, Valuable Goods-Full Service

take the coins with you...the electronics will be fine as long as they are packe properly...use the original cartons, styrofoam etc if you still have it..as far as the boxes you packed,it doesnt matter if you buy 1,000,000 worth of protection if the boxes are delivered to you undamaged on the outsid...

Re: Help! I need to plan a move inside 2 weeks on an $1700 Budget!

going out on a limb here because i have not seen what you are moving,i would say get the 16 foot truck... a 10 foot truck will, in my opinion, not be big enough..the couch and recliner will eat up quite a bit of space..how many boxes and or bags of clothes are you taking??? what size is your bed??? h...

Re: how do you get a discount from the mover

like rydog said, you did in fact get a discount.... its just not listed as a line item anymore... if you didnt get a discount your bill for 3000 pounds going coast to coast would be well over 6000.00. you dont say how much the estimate is but keep in mind that moving is not cheap...factor in labor,e...

Re: Move from DC to WA

dont know how much "stuff" she has but renting a truck,if you can get one for the month end in june, will cost you well over 1300.00 in fuel alone for a diesel 24 foot truck and most likely closer to 1800.00 since diesel has now cracked the 5.00 a gallon price...add to that the cost of the truck and...

Re: What should I do if I can't be present for unloading?

not to split hairs but.... its 2000 miles from long beach to chicago give or take a few and at 600 miles a day thats 3 1/2 days transit so its possible the driver would want to deliver as soon as the afternoon of the 4th day especially if it was the last shipment on the truck..
