Hi Squirrel,
Sorry for the delayed response, I'm working a couple of jobs and get back to approve posts when I can.
Do you have any idea how much in weight you have? This might help our volunteers help you determine what method would work best.

Re: Mover not giving any updates. Waiting 28 days now.
Hi Sydney, This is a tough spot to be in, and I really wish you'd found us before your move. Your recourse against a fraudulent mover diminishes over time. I would start by reading our article " "I’ve Been Scammed! What now?" and use the steps escalating from one to another. Make sure you take detai...

Re: Need trusted mover ASAP for Los Angeles to Malmö relo
Hi LAtoMS, The first thing I would recommend to relieve some of your stress would be to read our article: A Guide to International Shipping that can help you decide what you need to do and what to expect from an international move. Second, scroll down and find "International Moving Companies" on the...

Re: Anyone know of a good moving company For moving?
Many of the moving companies listed to the left can help you. Where are you moving from? Companies that are in the endorsed movers list that cover Maryland include: Joyce Van Lines Humboldt Suddath Mayflower United Hilldrup Bayshore Marathon All are good companies and all are capable of performing b...

Re: Thinking of hiring All Service Moving of OR and WA
Hi Hannah, I thought I would try to address some of your questions. First, yes, Joyce Van Lines has a spotless record and I have no doubt they would do well for you. Second, You mentioned that NAVL "is also a broker". keep in mind, that because van lines may have a local rep do the estimate, another...

Re: Help with moving from UK to Italy
Hi Frusta, I've never heard of this before, and would recommend you PM "noone" (no quotes) and ask him this same question. This doesn't sound likely, or we'd have heard of this scam before. I would be nervous about using any company who had that in their contract. If you haven't already, I would als...

Re: How to pick interstate mover; Sarasota to Omaha
The "local agent" is generally part of a larger van line. They run under the same license numbers as the van line does and pay "dues" to the van line for every move. The primary difference between van lines and independents is that the crew who picked up your stuff with a Van Line, may not be the cr...

Re: Moving company's license revoked
It looks like it was just the one affiliate, but keep in mind that all affiliates run under the same DOT license number, so it's sometimes hard to tell.

Re: Interstate Move: Lake Worth, Fl to Rockville, MD
I would stop, take a step back, take a deep breath, and start again. You are right in the middle of a hornets nest of fraudulent movers and you really need to be careful of who you choose! From our endorsed list, I would recommend Suddath, Joyce and Hilldrup on the left. These aren't just advertiser...

Re: Thinking of hiring All Service Moving of OR and WA
It's funny that you mentioned this moving company. They're about the only "safe" mover I found in the area, before I read your second post. I would still proceed with caution, as there are several moving companies in the area that are well-known fraudulent movers. Just make sure you use the steps in...

Re: Recommendations for long distance, full service movers?
Hi Hannah, There are quite a few movers in your area, although not all of them are local. The pros may have more suggestions, but I would recommend United/Mayflower (on the left), Joyce van Lines, STS and Andy's. Any of them can get you where you want to go. If you would prefer to use someone local,...

Re: How to pick interstate mover; Sarasota to Omaha
Hi Rick, Unfortunately, a lot of people focus on reviews rather than the information they should be looking at that will really tell the story behind a company. Reviews are good, but do you really know who wrote that review? How do you know if someone wasn't paid to write that review to make the com...

Florida Mover Posing as Legit Massachusetts Mover
Head's up! We've had several reports of a company out of Florida, posing as a legitimate mover out of Massachusetts. Roadrunner Moving & Storage, Inc. is a reputable company and has been in business for 28 years. Their BBB page is here: https://www.bbb.org/boston/business-reviews/moving-and-storage-...
