With all due respect to the Bekins agent that sold this scum bag a truck, I would've made sure to nip that in the butt right after the very first complaint call I rec’d.

Every truck I've sold, I made sure I painted over the signage. That way, I didn't get any complaint calls.

That's a very compelling piece, and one that everyone should watch.
Jeff,
Maybe this could be kept as a sticky or on the home page somewhere.

Re: EXPOSED: Rogue Movers
I'm confused. This report says that a company called A Better Way To Move is among the ripoff movers in California. Yet this site endorses this company:
Quote:
LOS ANGELES AREA (continued)
National Van Lines agents
--A Better Way to Move (National) in Los Angeles.
This company has the website www.abetterwaytomove.com and the phone 310-397-1222. As of 10/25/10 it had an "A" BBB rating with 1 complaint over the past 36 months.
Can someone explain the discepancy? Thank you!

Re: EXPOSED: Rogue Movers
First off, that's a super list posting, NOT an endorsement. All endorsed movers show up on the right side of this page. Second, that post is more than likely several years old. Lastly, it is not uncommon for "ripoff movers" to create a company with a similar or same name as a legitimate company. Unless you have the DOT numbers to compare, you may not be looking at the same mover.
One thing I notice is that the listing you mention below belongs to National Van lines (National), and generally speaking, Van Lines want to keep their reputation clean so they can get repeat business, so this may not be the same company mentioned in this report. Again, without DOT or MC numbers, it's hard to say.
**Edit**
After reviewing the video, the company actually has gone by "Better way to move", "Better way 2 Move", "Better Way 2 Move Moving & Storage". These are all plays off the name you mentioned, but likely isn't the same company. Better Way 2 Move shows up on the FMCSA's website with DOT#: 1635946 and MC#: 603325, and they also show up as Inactive. The company you mentioned from the super list uses DOT#: 76628, and is clearly not the same company.
