It has recently come to our attention that a company out of Arizona is playing off the name “Stevens International”, suggesting a link between themselves and the well-known Household goods Freight Forwarder, whom we endorse, based in Indiana. After doing our research and contacting Stevens International Forwarders d/b/a/ Stevens International, we’ve discovered that this company is in no way affiliated with Stevens International and consumers should be aware that this is NOT the company we endorse, nor is it in any way affiliated with Stevens International. This company does not appear to be registered with the FMCSA, nor does it have any licensing information posted on their website. This information was brought to our attention by a consumer who used this company and had her goods delivered, palletized via UPS, with promised full-service moving, and no one to unload their goods.
Anyone else who has had a bad experience with this mover, please feel free to contact Leet Zwepink at 260-244-7004 or by email at [email protected]. Stevens International is an endorsed mover listed under our "International Moving Companies" page.
Consumers should be aware and be careful that there are many companies out there misrepresenting themselves as well-known moving companies by using names that are similar to reputable moving companies who are there to take advantage of their customers. Please make sure you read our list of Red Flags and take the time to thoroughly research your mover. If you have any questions, please post them to our forums and allow the volunteers to help you with your move. The volunteers who respond to your posts are not allowed to promote their own companies, and in adhering to those guidelines can help you find a reputable mover within your area.

Re: Fraud Alert
I unlocked this for a moment so I could post more information.
This is the company in question: http://stevensmx.com/aboutusnow.html
Their Mission Statement is:
The owner, Ramses Stevens, and I assume his wife, Roxanna Ibarra Stevens, are listed in the Arizona Incorporation papers as Manager and Member respectively: http://starpas.azcc.gov/scripts/cgiip.e ... type=L.L.C.
It appears that the name similarity is coincidental as that IS actually his last name, but customers need to know that they are unrelated. They list no licenses on their website, and as Jeff said above, are not listed with either the FMCSA or the FMC for international shipping.
