Does anybody have credible information about the Graebel Van Lines closing?

The only information I could find was regarding the closing of their Wausau warehouse. Other than that, I haven't heard or seen anything. Something you heard?

Heard they were "paring down" to 13 to 15 locations.

I haven't seen Michael on in a while, but if he passes through, maybe he can let us know what's going on?

Yes, closing offices but not all.

I believe they sold off two (2) divisions to All My Sons Moving & Storage of Texas and that sale went through sometime in early 2015. Here is a link to the article from the Wausau Daily Herald:

This is an excerpt from Feb., 2016 from an internal company report about the top 10 van lines in the long-haul industry:

Graebel posted a loss of -400 power units, due to the 2014-2015 sell-off of their domestic moving & storage operations to All My Sons Moving & Storage of Texas. The loss of the equipment from the sold divisions makes Graebel the 2nd smallest of the top 10 van lines in the US.

Graebel currently shows 471 registered power units: 80 straight jobs; 391 tractors as per FMCSA records.

Yes, they have closed. I worked in the Phila (931) office and was laid off yesterday. We were told all Graebel was shut down.
