Houston To Phoenix

Postby moving soon » Thu Sep 10, 2020 5:11 pm

And so the carousel lights up again!

After our return to Houston three years ago, it's time to relo yet again. Hoping to get some insight on some moving options before calling to get the estimates. We are moving to the Phoenix / Scottsdale area in mid-November 2020. This time we have a full house of stuff and kids (3). Therefore, we need a good, full-service company.

My prior experiences:
1) Chicago to Houston (2008) - United (I think) - really liked the experience and service, but the local United companies in Houston do not have good reviews
2) Houston to Boston (2016) - Graebel - terrible experience
3) Boston to Houston (2017) - Mayflower - reasonable experience although there was a fair amount of damage. Their local office reviews are not that good either.

We have been told about a firm out of Phoenix called Camelback that has seemingly received good reviews. We are going to reach out to them, but want two other reputable comparisons.

Any other thoughts or ideas about which company might be good to use? We reached out to Sudduth and they won't service Houston primarily. Not sure about others to use.

All thoughts appreciated :)

Stay safe all

We moved from CA to Phoenix last year and used Three Men and A Truck https://threemenandatruck.net/three-guy ... k-phoenix/ out of Arizona to haul our stuff. We went with them because they were affordable, but also because they had offices in both locations so it made it easier to communicate with them if we had to get in touch with them for any reason. We were happy with them and would use them again if we were moving - very easy to work with and we even had to change our moving date at the last minute.
