Yes. The broker is - Transport Services and i can see their feedback which clearly shows real negative reviews about them. They have found this Carrier - Pioneer Enclosed Auto Transport which does not have any feedbacks anywhere. On their website they claim to have 10 years of experience but their license was issued only in 2009 and they only have 1 truck as per their license number. So i am not sure if this company will really delivery the car after they pick up. Please advice asap.

Don't go with this broker and this company. Cancel even if you lose your deposit.

A lot of auto carriers are one-truck operations, which is why so many brokers exist. It's a different ration than with household goods.

However, your own research is making you nervous, so I'm backing Diane. Find someone else.

Enclosed transport is a lot more expensive than open transport. Are you sure you need it? Be prepared for your quote to be higher than you probably got from the original broker.

Also, you might try calling ProStar, the broker that this website DOES recommend. Ask the person who answers what (if anything) she knows about this company at www.pioneerautotransport.com, but I'm sure you should cancel based on what you yourself posted. The problem with marginal companies is not with delivery. It's that the auto transporter may never even show up if the quote is too low because it knows it can't make money on the job.

Does anyone have any information on Agape Auto Transport? They are based out of Tennessee and appear to have good reviews on some sites, but based on what I've learned through this site, even that can be misleading! I would love to have some info, bad or good, that could help me make a decision.

I searched on Agape and two posts here say that it is a broker. It gave somebody a fairly low quote, but if you're going to use a broker I would suggest using one with numerous good reviews like ProStar at www.shipmycar.com or All American Auto Transport (Elliott) at 800-886-7135 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Going with the least expensive quote is very risky because the actual transporter might not even show up (see my post four posts above). I suggest getting quotes from the two auto transporters, and the one auto transport broker, endorsed by this website so you'll have a ballpark idea of a fair price.

Please don't shop by lowest price alone, because the phrase "you get what you paid for" definitely applies here.

Besides coast to coast auto, what auto transport company would anyone recommend? I tried golden key express but they do not service washington. Also, is autostar transport & logistics a trustworthy broker?

I had a very positive experience with Golden Key that I wanted to pass on.

My wife and I shipped our Volkswagen from California to North Carolina and it went extremely smoothly. Over the phone, I dealt with Misty, who was pleasant and very efficient. Danny -- who was also very pleasant -- then picked up my car and delivered it exactly when he said he would. He kept in regular communication with me and the car arrived in great shape. And the cost was reasonable: $1025 plus a tip for the driver.

I am shipping my old car from DE to IL. I am driving my new car to IL directly and park my car at my friend's place.
It seems that the worse case is
1. They messes up your car. (Insurance payes)
2. They never show up or late delivery.
For me , my concern is not the on time delivery, I can use my new car when I get there.
So No2. is not big concern.
For NO1, Can my current car insurance (full coverage) apply towards the moving as well?
If so, I probably would not care too much about the quality.
Anything I am missing? Thanks.

You should call your insurance company to see what it would cover. Someone else posted recently that his insurance company said that his comprehensive insurance applied only if the car's wheels were on the ground, so be careful.

You say you don't care about late delivery, but a much more common problem with very low quotes is that no hauler ever shows up to transport the car. I advise you to use one of MovingScam's endorsed companies if possible.
