If I were you, I'd take BE. For one, I've used them twice. Secondly, you've got a lower price for a better ride, and you can pay the driver to help arrange the load as you carry it in. He can't leave the truck, but he can direct you for maximum packing. You might consider asking if you'd need 17' reserved like ABF thought, just to be safe.

Thanks for your recommendations. I read all 17 pages of the ABF reviews here last night but I haven't done so for the BE reviews yet, so feel less familiar with them. With BE, how long does one have to finish loading up the truck while the driver is present?
