Hi all: Our family is moving from Clearwater, FL to somewhere in the Lehigh Valley, PA mid-July. Looking at the superlist, there doesn't seem to be any stellar movers (lots with no reviews). Can anyone give us any recommendations of movers to call and get quotes from? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Suddath, a large Florida relocation company and United Van Lines agent, has an office in St. Pete that services Clearwater. They're an excellent company. http://www.suddathrelocation.com/contac ... tpete.html
Thanks a bunch for the recommendation! Anyone else with any thoughts? I'm thinking about calling about 3 companies - maybe Atlantic Relocation and Browning, as well? Maybe Cook?
Of those mentioned I would select Suddath, it is a pretty sure bet that your things will be self hauled since they have a very large fleet and the yare recognized as a top shelf mover.
Browning and Atlantic Relocation are both excellent companies that could self haul your shipment as well. Randy Browning (owner) is the current president of the Florida Movers & Warehousemans Association.
I've met some of the people that work for Browning and I have have toured their facilities in Tallahassee and I'd have to say, I was quite impressed.
Thanks, again, for the thought everyone! I've already gotten quotes from Atlantic Relo and Suddath and will call Browning soon. Does anyone prefer one company over another? Thanks!
All 3 are excellent companies. You should therfore go with whoever you are most comfortable with. Out of the 3 companies there is hopefully one of the salespeople that your "clicked" with during the in-home survey. Go with your gut feeling it usually won't steer you wrong. good luck with your relocation.
Suddath and Browning are both United agents, so the pricing should be similar. I like Browning because I've met Jim Thorpe personally.
Try Sebastian Moving in Vero Beach. They'll do a good job for you. Ask for Buddy and he'll help you out.
Vero Beach is pretty far from Clearwater. I would suggest using a closer agent. That's at least a 3 hour drive.
So far I've had Atlantic Relo, Suddath, and Browning come out last week. Atlantic Relo gave me a quote but no packet or any other info. Suddath gave me a quote and a packet of info that was helpful. Browning came out and gave me a packet last Thursday but no sign of a quote yet. Should I be worried? What do you guys think?
