May I request a corrected spelling of "Connecticut", please?
Thanks.

This is probably the best idea I have heard in a while.

I kind of enjoyed reading the old blacklist....it had gotten a little out of date down thru the years, but it was about the only place you could go to easily and see how many crooks, thieves, phonies and scammers there are in different areas of the country, mostly South Florida. And seeing the owners names made it easy to figure out that this is an imported industry, not a local cottage industry made up of Americans.

It's changed, Bill. We tried to correct it in the past and it wouldn't take it.

Wow, Florida has a lot of bad movers.

FYI Schuman B Line in Largo, FL (North American Van Lines) has closed in Florida. They are still open in Oneonta, NY. You can call Eric Schuman to verify.

EE Ward (Columbus, OH) formerly of Bekins, is now a NAVL agent.

NAVL added the following agents this year:Roselli Moving and Storage (New York) and Oakley Relocation (owners of Atlas Transfer, an Allied agent has started this NAVL agency from scratch) in southern CA.

The building was purchased by Will Joyce, and is now Callahan Bros., company-owned agent for Joyce Van Lines.

What other agents have gone under or pulled out of certain markets recently?

Yes, Otto, the owner of EE Ward is a great guy. NAVL also added us, First Class Moving Systems, Inc. in Clearwater, Florida.

From my understanding, Beltmann closed one of their locations in FL and are no longer in the NC market.

Yes, but just to be clear, Joyce (or Callahan) is not affiliated with North American Van Lines.

I also heard they closed the location in Chicago a while back. I wonder if that is true.

Yes - that is true and was related to issues they were having with the union.
