Las Vegas Mover

Postby mella » Wed Mar 16, 2005 1:09 pm

Does anyone have experience with good Las Vegas movers? Two of the companies I have gotten estimates with have bad records. We are moving to Austin, TX.

Melanie,

I'm sure that someone will come on to advise you about reputable moving companies. I assume that you've already read the "How to Find a Reputable Mover" article--if not, please do.

I would also like to make a request. There is a TV reporter in Austin who is looking for people who have used this site to avoid being scammed. This is his post - http://www.movingscam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3639

You would be doing a service if you could contact him to tell him what companies you were considering and how you ruled them out. I believe that you could give him background information without being publicly identified if that concerns you.

If you would consider a U-Pack, We-Drive company, on this site we endorse Broadway Express and ABF. Otherwise, my personal belief is that you're safer if you stick with an agent of a major van line like United, Atlas, North American, or Allied. Realtors, employers, and apartment managers can often recommend good companies.

Hi There,

We used Wheatons agent in Las Vegas (Moving Relocations).
They did an excellent job. BTW - we moved to Australia. :)
