Any info on Air Van moving and Evergreen Moving Systems?

Postby Challe » Fri Apr 21, 2006 7:35 pm

I'm moving from the Seattle, WA area to Irvine, CA next month.

So far, I've had someone from Air Van moving (http://www.airvan.net, agent for North American) come out to give an estimate, and next week someone from Evergreen Moving Systems (agent for Atlas, via http://www.atlasworldgroup.com ) will be coming by.

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about these companies?

Thank you!

Airvan is one of my favorite agents in the NW and you would have a better chance of them doing a self haul instead of it being turned over to the vanlines (although this is not a bad thing). But they have some really good drivers. Just request that the tacoma shop be your orgin agent and not Everett. since Everetts does more office and electronic moves then household they tend to get lazy when it comes to household.

A really good alternative would be Lile in Kent. They are also northAmerican agent. They know the seattle area very well and they have a very well trained crew.

Thanks for your input, Ruges, and I'll add it to my summary post on WA movers.
