OK, so if someone has Contract Authority only, your things will be moved in exactly the same way as someone with Common authority, but if thr moving truck blows up, you're SOL? How is that legal?
That's why I said that I would not recommend moving with a company with only Contract authority without getting their cargo insurance carrier and policy number, and verifying it personally. The bottom line is that if they only have broker authority then avoid them like the plague; if they only have contract authority, avoid them unless you're willing to go the extra mile to check them out.

I recently had a very bad experience with this company as well. They are now doing business with an aka of METRO VAN LINES. Avoid these people at all costs!!! They are truly crooks.
Yep, you are exactly right. www.metrovanlines.net shows the DOT number for Best Time Movers.
