McCollister's virginia - good experience

Postby geetib » Tue May 09, 2006 12:48 am

I used this board/web site to help me find a mover. I cancelled my move with Chesapeake movers (Jessup MD) (though oh so cheap).

I was just moving a small amount of furniture/boxes for a second home in Tampa FL. I did the packing myself so can't speak to the packing capabilites.

Rochelle from McCollisters was able to arrange for the move quickly and gave me a very competitive price. All went well - movers showed up on time to load and did a good job. Goods arrived in the middle of the specified delivery window. The guys who unloaded did a great job as well and did the basic set up of furniture and bed.

McCollisters came out to do the esimate and promply sent a "binding not to exceed" estimate.

Having read about all the problems other people have had - I can honestly say this was a problem free move.
